This toolkit will be aimed at developing teachers’ and student teachers’ understanding of the importance of engaging with family and understanding family/social situation of the child. Resources will be aimed at training teachers/student teachers and providing support for parents.

Collection of the main innovative pedagogical strategies and best educative praxis developed within the project starting from the results of the preliminary recognition to approach children and pre- adolescents to reading, including even those providing for the use of ICT devices as audio book, tablets, etc.
The Toolkit includes a Handbook on the main educative strategies focused by the project to promote and foster the Reading Education (in school and extra-school contexts) and a set of practical instructions related to the materials to be used for applying these methods. The methods provide for:
- Activities aimed to the 3 different age-categories of children focused by the project, fostering the educative continuity among these three educational steps.
- Activities aimed to the 3 different age-categories of children focused by the project, involving also their parents to strengthen the continuity among family and School on this peculiar issue.
The Toolkit will allow to its addresses (educators, educative professionals, teaching staff and support teachers) to upgrade their professional skills through the acquisition of effective and innovative pedagogical methodologies to push the personal development and growth of final beneficiaries through reading. The Toolkit will supply to educators and teaching staff useful instruments to carry out better their educational commitments and to arrange innovative activities for children based on Reading Education.
